Hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Association of Clinical Anatomists (ANZACA) the flagship event of the IFAA will be held in Australia for the first time. The 22nd IFAA Congress (13-16 August 2026) will be held in Melbourne at the world-class, award-winning Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC). Situated right in heart of the city, IFAA 2026 is also a wonderful opportunity to explore the vibrant, diverse, safe and exciting city of Melbourne.
The Local Organising Committee are building an exciting and comprehensive programme, including a range of hands-on workshops, challenging symposia, thought-provoking panels and inspiring plenary lectures. Standard registration is inclusive of social events and catering on the main conference days. Take advantage of an incredible discount Early Bird registration fee available until 10th April 2026.
The thematic organisation of the IFAA 2026 programme means that each theme has three days of events (plus workshops for most on the first day); you can stick with a theme for the whole congress, or move between themes as you please. This is especially great for specialist colleagues, such as engineers, clinicians and industry specialists. We aim to not only bring the world of anatomists together, but also those with an interest in anatomy from a broad range of fields. IFAA 2026 is really Anatomy for Everyone.
