The International Federation of Associations of Anatomists (IFAA) Executive Committee will again support ‘Emergent Anatomists’ (academic staff and postgraduate students) to attend the 2026 IFAA Congress in Melbourne, Australia.

In order to support emergent anatomists attending such Congresses, an “early bird” registration cost is being offered to emergent anatomists. A minimum of 20 awards will be made: at least 10 academic staff and 10 PhD level postgraduate students will be supported to attend the IFAA Congress in Melbourne. Unfortunately, at this time travel, accommodation and subsistence costs cannot be supported by this award.

Applications for these awards are now open (October 2025) and close at the end of February, 2026. Only those applications on the official IFAA application template, fulfilling all requirements, will be considered.
