Special issue about "Ethics in Anatomy" has been published by Clinical Anatomy based on the results of the FICEM group Meeting in Beijing in 2014.
3D imaging in a South African context
In collaboration with the European Union, Erasmus Mundus, AESOP and AESOP Plus, the University of Pretoria is hosting a cutting-edge workshop from the 12th to the 15th of October 2015 that will expose attendees to the latest 3D technologies in a South African context. Speakers include experts on CT, CBCT, Microfocus X-ray Computed Tomography (CT), surface scanning, 3D printing, 3D modelling, geometric morphometrics and their applications. The diversity of possibilities show-cased in this workshop is envisaged to create the incentive for new training and career development opportunities. This workshop will also offer exciting excursions to heritage sites such as the Cradle of Humankind, as well as the Sterkfontein Caves and Necsa.
